1.The Service
We provide online workforce training courses, assessments and downloadable certificates. Course content is for training and awareness purposes. Certificates evidence completion of our online courses and are not, unless expressly stated, a regulated or accredited qualification.
2.Individual course purchases
- Individual courses are sold on a pay-as-you-go basis at the price shown at checkout.
- Access to a purchased course is granted to the purchasing account and is for that single named learner.
- Each certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of completion, after which the course should be retaken to remain current.
3.Business training subscriptions
Business (team) subscriptions give all of the Customer's registered staff unlimited access to every course for the subscription term. Two payment options are offered:
- Monthly-billed subscription — charged at £30 per month.
- Annual subscription — charged at £300 per year, paid annually in advance.
All business training subscriptions, including those paid monthly, are for a minimum term of 12 months from the start date of the first payment. A monthly-billed subscription is a 12-month commitment collected in monthly instalments; it is not a rolling month-to-month arrangement.
You may cancel the subscription within the first 7 days of the first month ("Cancellation Window") for a full refund of any amount paid, and no further charges will be made. If you cancel within the Cancellation Window your team's access ends immediately.
After the Cancellation Window closes, the subscription is committed for the remainder of the 12-month term and instalments (for monthly-billed subscriptions) remain payable for the full term. You may still cancel to prevent renewal beyond the current term (see clause 4).
4.Renewal
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each 12-month term at the then-current price, unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- To stop a renewal, notify us at least 24 hours before the renewal date, or cancel through the payment provider (Stripe) where available.
- Each renewed term is itself a 12-month term subject to these Terms.
5.Payment
- Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Where you request to pay by invoice, an invoice is issued with a secure Stripe payment link. Subscription access activates once the first payment is confirmed.
- All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Where applicable, VAT is charged in addition and shown on your invoice.
- If a payment fails or is charged back, we may suspend access until the amount owed is settled.
6.Refunds
- Business subscriptions: refunds are given only where cancellation is made within the Cancellation Window (clause 3).
- Individual courses: because access and certificates are delivered digitally and immediately, individual course purchases are non-refundable once the course has been started, save for your legal rights.
- Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that apply to you and cannot be excluded by law.
7.Certificates
- Certificates are issued on successful completion of a course and its assessment.
- Certificates remain valid for 12 months from completion and can be verified via our certificate verification page.
- Certificates must not be altered, forged or misrepresented. We may invalidate any certificate obtained improperly.
8.Acceptable use
- Accounts and access codes are for the named learner or the Customer's own staff only and must not be shared outside the subscribing organisation.
- You must not copy, resell, or redistribute course content.
- We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, without refund where the breach is material.
9.Data protection
We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection law. Personal data provided during registration, training and certification is used to deliver the Service, issue certificates, and administer subscriptions.
10.Liability
The Service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms is limited to the amount paid by the Customer in the 12 months preceding the claim. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase or renewal applies to that term. Material changes will be notified to registered account holders.
12.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
